Accessibility at the 2024 Festival

The TD Halifax Jazz Festival wants to work with you to ensure the best festival experience possible!
We have outlined our venue’s accessibility details below. If you have any questions or concerns in advance of your outing to the festival, please contact accessibility@halifaxjazzfestival.ca

General Info

  • We support the Access 2 Card Program. Patrons who purchase a ticket and require a personal attendant can present a valid Access 2 Card at any venue and your support person receives free admission.

At the TD Main Stage

  • The Waterfront TD Main Stage is wheelchair accessible, including washrooms, cable mats, a viewing platform, and the site will be audited by a wheelchair user and accessibility advisor.

  • If you will be attending the event with mobility issues please get in touch with accessibility@halifaxjazzfestival.ca and we will work with you to plan your outing.

  • For evening shows please arrange to arrive at the venue at 7 p.m. to allow adequate time to make you comfortable. Please come through the VIP entrance beside the Waterfront Warehouse Patio and identify as an accessibility patron.

Accessibility Services Tent

  • Located at the Waterfront TD Main Stage site next to the box office on the Halifax Waterfront. Foundation Place Lot, 1549 Lower Water Street

Large Print Schedules

  • Large print daily schedules are available upon request at our Accessibility Services Tent located at the Waterfront TD Main Stage site.

Accessible Washrooms

  • Accessible and un-gendered washrooms are located on both sides of the Waterfront TD Main Stage site. 

Wheelchair platform

  • Located next to the soundboard. This is an optional location to view of the stage. If at anytime you cannot locate a seat or suitable viewing area, please check in with our staff at Accessibility Services located next to the box office and they will be happy to assist you.
