Support the Halifax All-City Music Program with Winterlude 2010

On Saturday, February 27 from 7:30 p.m. to midnight, at 1055 Marginal Road, the Fine Arts Parents Association present Winterlude 2010 at Pier 21.  The evening features live performances, dessert, cash bar and silent auction. There is free parking at the front entrance of Pier 21. Tickets are $30 and are available in advance (machum@eastlink.ca or music@staff.ednet.ns.ca, phone 477-6788) and at the door.

This is a music-based event, featuring a wonderful evening of music and dancing provided by the students of the Halifax All-City Music Program - classical, jazz, rock and roll will be showcased.

The Fine Arts Parents Association is a volunteer parent group that actively supports arts education in the Halifax public school system. FAPA funds scholarships and prizes for music and art students at the high school level, and provides travel grants and honoraria to the All-City music groups.

Each year, FAPA organizes Winterlude, its main fundraising event of the year. Winterlude 2010 will feature both the vocal and instrumental talents of the Halifax All-City Music program. All profits go directly to support student development in the arts.
