As you can see JazzEast has neither forgotten its jazz foundation nor how to play with others nicely. We have many high profile performers on stage who have never been to Halifax before and we expect that the diversity of talent and backgrounds will give you more than one reason to be excited about summer in Halifax. We want the festival to be your urban oasis with sights and sounds that will transport you to the American south or the heart of Cuba’s night life without a passport, just a ticket.
