Guitarist and composer Jeff Torbert is an exciting up-and-coming musician that has already made a mark on the Canadian Jazz scene. A protégé of master-musicians Jerry Granelli and David Tronzo, he was awarded the CBC Galaxie Rising Star Award at the 2006 Atlantic Jazz Festival. His unique and inventive compositions are making waves on the Halifax music scene as a new contemporary jazz vision.
